I called the parish office today to ask a super important question: Do you require six months notice to book a date to get married?
I am excited with the answer that I received: "We have done weddings with less than six months notice, but you will have to go to Engaged Encounter before you get married. This is a requirement for a sacramental marriage to take place in the Catholic church." (http://www.engagedencounter.org/)
YIPPEE!!! I'm doing my happy dance!
So, there is a chance, if everything goes through in time, Mike and I could be looking at a spring wedding.
